Since taking seven years to construct in the late eighteenth century, the Georgian, Grade II listed Hall has been a pivotal setting for many prominent figures and events in Birmingham’s history. The Blue Plaque identifies the property as a former residence of Dr William Withering whose discoveries in medicine are still in use today. The oak-paneled walls and tastefully restored rooms are in keeping

with the building’s character, providing a sense of warmth and comfort that is rarely found in a building so grand.

Superb Hospitality

The Edgbaston Golf Club’s team of chefs, management and front of house have over 30 years of experience in delivering superb dining to some of the UK’s most prestigious sporting stadia.

Our ethos is to deliver high-quality hospitality and event management that exceeds our member and customer expectations. We serve good food and drink, in a professional manner, with passion and pride. Sourcing, seasonality and sustainability, as well as the quality of our produce, is high on our agenda.

Our suppliers are hand-picked from the local area. We select our meats from a high-quality butcher in Sutton Coldfield, our delicious breads are baked in Rugby; our fish, fruit and vegetables from Birmingham and our cheeses come from a dairy in Earlswood. Our wholesale distributor, brewery and premium mixers are brought to the club from Wolverhampton and Staffordshire.

Enjoy spectacular views from a choice of dining spaces overlooking the golf course, with delicious menus tailor-made for you. From private dining and formal lunches to hot and cold buffets and wedding feasts, our banqueting menus are expertly created by our Executive Chef using only the freshest locally-sourced produce. Our dedicated events manager will ensure your event runs exactly as you imagined it.
