Where golf comes first

Edgbaston is a real test, which our members tell us never gets dull. It is maintained in superb condition, with course investment being the club's biggest priority. A focus on the greens and aprons, combined with an ambitious bunker construction plan, has restored our course to H.S. Colts original vision.

The competitions against other local clubs give our members an extensive fixture list every season, and the opportunity to play some of the other best courses in the region. There is a fantastic array of inter-club competitions to test yourself against other members, in every format of the game. It's the perfect place to make new friends.

On a more casual note, and given our proximity to the City Centre, it is very easy to play a few holes on a summers evening after work. The club is the centre of the community for many of our members, for others who are new to the area

Value for money

Our members tell us one of their favourite things about Edgbaston is the access to the course. Many appreciate that we limit access by societies and golf days putting members first is the clubs highest priority. In the unlikely event of the course not being available, the Club has various reciprocals, where members can contact and make use of them.

You don't need to play many times per month for your membership fee to prove a bargain. Members also carry the Edgbaston Blue Card this affords a discount on all beverages at the bar. It is hard to find a reason not to unwind after a round, with a refreshing drink on our sun-soaked terrace.

Club camaraderie

Perhaps the most appealing aspect of the club is its warm and sociable culture. A proud maxim of the club is that our members are friends, who just happen to play golf. In a recent survey (July 2023), members told us that the clubs sense of camaraderie is what sets us apart. The club the centre of the community for many of our members, for others who are new to the area, it is a great way to meet new people. Men, women, juniors golfers of all abilities and ages, have a home at Edgbaston Golf Club.
